22nd Niagara Scouts

Come out and have some fun for youth (Girls and Boys) age 5-7, age 8-10, age 11-15 and older.
New outdoor program with kids leading the way. Youth are taking charge, learning new things that they are interested in.
Building life skills, leadership skills and life long frienships.

COVID Policy
Youth will be enjoying an outdoor program, in groups smaller than 8.
Physical distancing, personal equipment use, bring your own water.
After each meeting, a review of policies and practicies to keep getting better.

Adequate Care Social Services

We are Adult Day Care and we specialize in caring for young adults living with mental health and physical disabilities. Age ranges (16 years to 35years ) We are currently doing new intakes for our daycare center. We would bring care to your home in the comfort of your home. Our services also include respite for caregivers and others to avoid burning out. We are available to support and care for your loved ones. Our rate is very affordable.

We are Business and Professional Women, Niagara Falls and we accept members from Niagara Region and beyond.
Our monthly meetings of women working for women will be held online until further notice!

Do you share our interests or concerns and wish to be women working for women? Would you like to work with us to achieve our aims and objectives? Are you simply a casual visitor to our site? We’d love to hear from you and/or welcome you to a monthly meeting.

Mandate: The Business and Professional Women is an equality-seeking non-sectarian, non-profit, and non-partisan organization. We work to improve the economic, political, social and employment conditions of women.

BPW Niagara Falls holds monthly dinner meetings which provide opportunities to stay informed on women’s issues. Members enjoy a guest speaker and network with other working women. We also hold social events and have several active committees. Clubs are involved in community work, such as supporting local women’s shelters, providing bursaries for female students, and helping to provide lunches to children in our communities.

The Brain Injury Association of Niagara is committed to empowering and maximizing the quality of life for individuals living with the effects of an acquired brain injury and their families through support, social activities, community and peer opportunities, advocacy, and information. We are committed to education, awareness, and prevention of brain injury in St. Catharines and the Niagara region.

Community Support Services of Niagara

Community Support Services of Niagara is a volunteer based not-for-profit agency providing comprehensive client-driven community support services to help seniors and adults with disabilities live independently in their own homes. Programs include: Meals on Wheels, Transportation, Homemaking, Safety at Home, Home Maintenance and Repair, Friendly Visiting and Security and Reassurance and Congregate Dining. Most programs have resumed ensuring that safe COVID practices and protocols are in place to ensure the safety of clients, volunteers and staff. Friendly Visiting and Congregate Dining have not resumed on a regular basis. Office hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4pm.

GROW Community Food Literacy Centre

GROW Community Food Literacy Centre is a registered food charity in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Our goals are to assist and empower those with barriers to accessing and benefiting from good healthy food. GROW is a community-focused model aimed at addressing some of the long-term food challenges that low-income residents and persons with disabilities face in our community.

The GROW Market is open every Saturday from 10:30am – 1:30pm.

This market makes fresh food more accessible to those living on low incomes. When people shop for fruits and vegetables at the affordable produce market, their money goes a lot further and residents can head home with loads of fresh ingredients to prepare healthy meals. The market offers fresh foods including vegetables, fruits, fish and unprocessed meats at wholesale prices, along with canned and other non-perishable food.

GROW Market is for individuals and families meeting the low-income cut off. Please bring proof of income to obtain a membership card to the market. You may also pre-register by phone or email. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the centre.

Happy Feet Dance

Happy Feet Dance is a community and family oriented Dance Studio offering quality dance instruction in Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Modern, Baton, Acro and Ballet. Adult program available and a specialized Mommy & Me 8 Week session for Child/Caregiver. We participate in community events such as Parades and charitable shows and have a year end Recital.

Covid-19 Procedures and Policies: All participants and parents MUST wear a mask or face shield at all times. Drop off and pick up will be at one of our three entrances, depending on which Studio your child’s class is in. Temperature checks at the door and hand sanitizing prior to entry. Tuition payments can be made at the Front Desk (there will be plexiglass) or sent by etransfer. Only Staff members are permitted to open and close doors. Students will be called in for their class. Bathrooms will be sanitized after each use as well as high touch surfaces. Physical distancing will be clearly marked on the Studio floors and walls.

Niagara Bruce Trail Club

Niagara Bruce Trail Club is one of nine non-profit VOLUNTEER clubs making up the Bruce Trail. The Bruce Trail Canada’s oldest and longest footpath. Niagara club maintains and preserves 80km of the trail from Queenston to Grimsby. We also organize led hikes throughout the year. Hikes are conducted on the Bruce Trail as well as other recreational trails in the Niagara Peninsula. We have hikes from 1.5 hrs to 4 hrs. Select the pace and terrain that is right for you. There is something for beginners as well as seasoned hikers. Membership is $50 per year for a family or individual. Plenty of benefits including a $50 tax receipt for supporting the conservancy. COVID restrictions are observed with social distancing, no carpooling and no out of town hikes.

An non-profit charity focused on learning about the valuable natural history of Niagara, while promoting the importance of preserving and protecting the natural habitat of the region.

Niagara Falls Poetry Project

A website with hundreds of poems about Niagara Falls, dating from 1604 on. Topics include the waterfalls, the parks, thr tourist experience the Battles of Lundy’s Lane, Chippawa, and Queenston, and the cities of NF New York and NF Ontario. Some Niagara Falls poets writing on other topics are also included.

Niagara Falls Public Library

The Niagara Falls Public Library boasts more than 250,000 books, magazines, newspapers, graphic novels, movies, video games, audiobooks, and music CDs at our four locations. Try out our book club kits, multilingual collections, literacy, ESL materials, and accessible format materials including large print books, audiobooks and Playaways. If we don’t have something you’re looking for we can try to borrow it through our Interlibrary Loan service.

Programs for all ages, including early literacy programs for children, after school programs, computer and technology classes, book clubs, film screenings, adult informational programs, a monthly writers’ circle, a monthly legal clinic, tax clinics, and summer reading clubs.

Customers may also enjoy our full service Virtual Library with 24/7 access to downloadable eBooks, audiobooks, and magazines.

Niagara Falls Shrine Club

Niagara Falls Shrine club is a service group caring for Burns and crippling disease Children. We maintain 22 Children’s Hospitals. Locally we support the Niagara Hospital and Kid’s Soccer. We also rent out our Hall which accommodates 90 people to the public.

Perch For Women

Perch For Women equips women in all seasons and situations of life by providing guidance and opportunities for greater health and wholeness. Practically, we offer workshops, programs, therapeutic rapor groups, life coaching opportunities and social connection events.

Because of COVID-19, the majority of our groups, workshops and connection opportunities are online. We are hoping to transition back to meeting in the Perch location but until that becomes a reality, all meetings and groups are scheduled or on an appointment only basis.

Poetry Walking Tour of Niagara Falls

The Poetry Walking Tour of Niagara Falls takes visitors and locals along the riverfront from Dufferin Islands, past the falls, to the Rainbow Bridge. Along the way you are invited to engage with the app to read (and in some cases listen to) poetry about Niagara Falls, brief histories of the area you are in, and artworks. There are video clips, songs, and explanatory text at the different spots along the way.

Project SHARE of Niagara Falls

Our Community at Work—Project SHARE serves individuals living in poverty in the Niagara Falls community by: addressing the short-term need for food and creating long-term solutions for food security, mobilizing resources in our community, and adapting services to respond to changes around us. We currently provide emergency food and services to 126 families on average per day in Niagara Falls.

Rotary Club of Niagara Falls

The Rotary Club of Niagara Falls, Ontario is an active service club that provides support to many non-for profit organizations, youth and children. We always encourage new members to join our wonderful Club. Since the impact of COVID-19, we now meet every Tuesday at 12:15 p.m. via Zoom. The invitation is always open for guests to join these meetings, and learn about the great things we do throughout our community, internationally and how you can make a difference. We hope to return soon to our face to face meetings, which normally take place every Tuesday for lunch at 5621 Main Street in Niagara Falls.

Rotary Clubs all over the World are also part of Rotary International which is improving peoples’ lives everywhere. Our motto is Service Above Self! Please contact us if you are interested in joining our Club, or would like to be a volunteer during our initiatives and events throughout the year that continue to improve our community.

Sing Niagara

Sing Niagara is a fun-loving dynamic and creative group of women of all ages who love to sing A Capella in the Barbershop style. We bring our love of music and performance to community events and private functions throughout the Niagara Region. New members are always welcome. We rehearse in St. Catharines every Monday evening from 7:00 – 9:30 p.m.

This club is for those women who are new to the Niagara Region and would like to meet new people and make new friends. Many of our activities are done virtually currently because of COVID-19. Some of our activities include book clubs, coffee club, walking club, etc.

We grant wishes to children with a potentially life-threatening illness. The Board of directors all work out of their homes. No fancy office and no paid staff.

United Way Niagara

Physical distancing is challenging all of us in new ways, but for people experiencing homelessness, it’s impossible. Staying home certainly isn’t convenient, but for people experiencing domestic violence, it’s life threatening. And for those experiencing food insecurity or mental illness, loss of contact with services and people is more than a frustration, it’s a crisis.

United Way works to tackle some of the biggest social issues in Niagara. Issues like food security and poverty are easy to ignore when you can’t see them. Unfortunately it took a pandemic to bring these critical social issues to the forefront. United Way invests in solutions to poverty, food security, mental health and well-being, homelessness, domestic violence and social isolation. These are the issues we aim to make #UNIGNORABLE.

We work locally to raise funds and invest in programming that improves lives, providing solutions to real, local social problems. Learn more at
