Dog Obedience Classes & Private Lessons. We also offer Therapy Dog Testing . We provide an Outreach Program / Dog Visitation to local retirement homes , group homes , nursing homes and hospitals within the Niagara Region. We also provide Dog Bite Prevention Education to children and adults. We go to local schools and educate children on Dog Bite Prevention and teach the children how to keep safe around dogs. We also offer Dog Bite Prevention Education to letter carriers , couriers postal workers and delivery personnel. We also have specialized scent detection dogs available for detection work assignments.We specialize in problem-solving with dogs for the past 36 years.

Scotty’s Dog Training

Welcome to Scotty’s dog training! I’m here to help you create a calm, balanced, and obedient dog for you to enjoy. I provide you with the methods and techniques you’ll need to create the best relationship with your dog. You will use calm, assertive energy, redirection, reward and positive reinforcement along with helping you to understand the benefits of being a strong and more confident dog owner.

​Your dog will quickly demonstrate a full understanding of commands in different settings under real-life distractions as you set the expectation for good behaviour every time. The result? A contented dog, a respectful relationship and a happy home!

All training lessons will take place outside in our environment. Based on your availability I can work around your schedule. I welcome all family members to participate in the training as well as anyone else who spends considerable time with your dog to join us, as consistency is the only language our dogs understand.
By working as a team, both dog and owner will strengthen their bond, understanding and respect one another, while having a ton of fun.
